The Three-Year Compliance Period for A-G ends on January 31, 2022. Before the three-year period is up, lawyers with a last name that starts with an A through G in the alphabet must complete 25 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE). Four hours must be in Ethics, one hour in Elimination of Bias and one hour in Competence. The “specialty” CLEs can be hard to get. Previously, attorney Wendy L. Patrick has recorded CLEs on Ethics and Implicit Bias. With her latest CLE, “Lawyers on the Rocks: Substance Abuse and Mental Competence”, you can get that one hour of credit in Competence. We hope that you find this Patrick presentation to be as informative and well-done as many of you have found her previous CLEs to be.
