Ms. Halbreich is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and a former Assistant U. S. Attorney. Her Mediation training was at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University School of Law.
Ms. Eva Halbreich has been widely known and respected for her winning trial record in the areas of Employment Law; Negligence, Professional and Medical Malpractice; Partnership and Business Disputes; and Family Law involving substantial assets and business interests. Ms. Halbreich’s success in representing her clients in trials as well as in hundreds of mediations in over 30 years of practice, has influenced her passion, as a Mediator, for identifying a variety of options resulting in successful settlements.
As a founder of a law firm that continues to enjoy the highest reputation in litigation 30 years later, and as a real estate investor, Ms. Halbreich has a real life understanding of the complexity of issues facing parties in Mediation. Her broad legal experience in several legal areas stems from practicing law in the Public and Private Sector. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles, she represented the U.S. government in a variety of major civil cases in Federal Court, followed by a highly successful litigation practice in the private sector.
Ms. Halbreich’s multi area practice and broad experience brings substantive knowledge and practical experience into the Mediation arena. Ms. Halbreich’s high success rate in Mediations, including mediations involving cultural differences reflects her talent for understanding and resolving subtle underlying issues, thus eliminating impediments to settlement.
