Over the past 13 years, Eve Wagner has mediated hundreds of cases involving a wide range of matters, ranging from simple to multi-party, complex matters. Ms.Wagner offers both private mediation, as well as mediation services through the mediation panel of the U.S. District Court (Central District of Calif.). Ms. Wagner’s mediation practice includes disputes involving employment (including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and wage and hour), entertainment and intellectual property (including copyright infringement, theft of ideas, third party participation and accounting claims, and disputes between studios and talent); real estate and landlord/tenant (including breach of lease, fraud, quiet title, fraud, mold exposure, and construction); business / commercial (including partnership disputes, breach of contract, intentional interference, unfair competition and fraud); legal malpractice (including related fee disputes); Civil Rights and Unruh Act violations and premises liability and other types of negligence.
Ms. Wagner is still a practicing litigator. As such, she represents both plaintiffs and defendants, which provides her a unique perspective. Ms. Wagner’s mediation style emphasizes common sense, communication skills and the ability to solve difficult problems with practical solutions. Ms. Wagner uses both the evaluating and facilitative styles of mediation.
Ms. Wagner also serves as an arbitrator for NAM and IFTA, and offers private arbitration services.
Prior to founding Sauer & Wagner in 1997, Ms. Wagner was an equity partner at a large Century City firm.
Ms. Wagner is a graduate of the Univ. of So. Calif. (JD 1986, Order of the Coif). Ms. Wagner is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been included as one of the Southern California Super Lawyers in Los Angeles Magazine for several years.
