The global pandemic known as COVID-19 has put a strain on businesses across the world, and most recently the United States.
The Los Angeles Superior Court has been issuing daily new orders and guidelines on how they will be handling cases going forward into the future.
We’ll be discussing and reviewing with our panelists:
All the new general orders in detail and best practices
From the trenches viewpoint on how they are being implemented
Work arounds and solutions using ADR providers
An open discussion about what they are doing to mitigate hardships
A tool kit to survive the new orders
Panelists will include
Alphonse F. Provinziano, CFLS – Co-Chair of the BHBA Family Law Section, Member of the CLA Family Law Section Ad Hoc Committee on the Coronavirus, and Vice-Chair of the LA Standing Committee for CLA Flexcom
Alex Grager, CFLS – A seasoned professional and divorce practitioner who has had real experience being in court and seeing how the orders have been implemented
Hon. Keith Clemens (Ret.) – Discussing how to determine how ADR services can help facilitate settlement and get orders on cases not deemed emergencies by the court.
They will share best practices for supporting and guiding clients through this pandemic.
Please join us as we plan for the worst and hope for the best!
