Partnerships are among the more substantial revenue opportunities across the growing professional esports industry. The overall panel will be broken into two shorter segments ? the first focusing on venue, endemic brand and non-endemic brand partnership deals and the second focusing on team and influencer partnership deals.
Our esteemed panelists will discuss such negotiated provisions such as IP and other rights, timing, exclusivity and stakeholder viewpoints across a variety of partnership, sponsorship and licensing/merchandising deals and agreements.
Caroline Beall is the Director of Partnership Operations at Immortals. She joined Immortals in 2019 and oversees event activations and influencer relations for the esports organization. Her work at Immortals includes competitive esports events, community social gatherings, and virtual streamed tournaments. Caroline works with Immortals’ professional esports athletes and endemic gaming influencers to create memorable entertainment experiences for their fan communities. Prior to Immortals, Caroline worked in the touring division at Fullscreen Media where she led operations for national influencer tours. Caroline studied Managerial Economics at UC Davis.
Mustafa Aijaz has been part of the esports space since early 2010. He has experience in working with partners, managing top-tier influencers in the gaming/lifestyle segment, and building an esports brand & company off a YouTube collective. Having built a following of 400,000+ collectively across all his own social media, working with some of the most prominent brands & personalities in online entertainment. Mustafa is the owner, VP & a part of the founding team of one of the most historic names in gaming; SoaR.
Jud is a co-founder and CEO of Allied Esports International, a leading developer of esports properties and content, and a subsidiary of Allied Esports Entertainment (NASDAQ: AESE). The company’s portfolio includes venues, production studios and 18-wheel semi-truck mobile arenas that serve as competition battlegrounds and content generation hubs through either direct operation or as part of the Allied Esports Property Network, the first affiliate program available to partners looking to open new esports facilities around the world.
Mike Lee is a Video Games agent at leading global talent and entertainment company United Talent Agency (UTA). He and his team represent a diverse roster of top esports professionals and Twitch streamers including Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, OfflineTV, Moe “Yassuo” Abdalhrman, Max “Maximilian_Dood” Christensen, Ovilee May, and Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, among many others.
Lee served as the Head of Partnerships for the esports companies Press X and Everyday Influencers before UTA acquired the agencies in 2018. Previously, Lee worked at AEG as Director of Digital for the Global Partnerships division, where he was responsible for driving agency growth and sponsorship opportunities through digital channels.
Phil has spent the last fifteen years as a leader in the online creator revolution. During Ranta’s tenure at Facebook, Facebook Gaming grew 210% in one year according to a recent Streamlabs report. Prior to Facebook, Phil was the COO at Studio71 and VP of Networks at Fullscreen. Both companies successfully exited, to ProSieben and Otter Media (a joint venture between AT&T and Peter Chernin), respectively. Ranta also previously worked as executive producer at Viva! Vision, producing content delivered to over 250 million mobile phones worldwide. As a content creator, his produced videos and podcasts have received hundreds of millions of views and downloads.

Although he \ has extensive litigation experience, his primary focus is dedicated to transactional, financial and intellectual property matters. Mr. Cooper’s entertainment practice areas include video game development and publishing, music recording and publishing, copyright and trademark law, licensing, merchandising, production, distribution, management, and digital content. clients include developers, publishers, musicians, songwriters, arrangers, actors, photographers, designers, streamers and influencers. Mr. Cooper’s business practice areas include entity formation, dissolution, equity and debt financing, mergers, acquisitions, and investor, employee and contractor relations.
