About/Bio

Lloyd Lochridge is a writer, director, and producer from Austin, Texas. Prior to his work with narrative podcasts, Lloyd produced documentary films, including ESPNโ€™s ten-part, 20-hour series, “Basketball: A Love Story.” He has directed and produced over a dozen documentary podcast series, including “Gone South,” which received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Podcast; “It Was Said” with Jon Meacham, winner of the Webby Award for Best Podcast; “Gangster Capitalism,” nominated for a Peabody Award; and “Root of Evil,” ranked by Shortlist as one of the best True Crime Podcasts of all time. Lloyd is also the recipient of the Tennessee Williams Award for Playwriting. He resides in New Orleans with his wife and two sons.
