Digital Marketing Manager (full time, hourly) 

We are a nonprofit professional association. Our ideal candidate is an expert in digital
marketing, loves independence but works well as part of a team, thrives in a remote-work
environment, and has a record of increasing revenue. The Digital Marketing Manager will
develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital
channels—paid social, display advertising, and content marketing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, and display
advertising campaigns to promote association and events; increase event attendance,
membership, and online video viewership
• Create and manage advertising budget; report on revenue and expense deviations to
Executive Director and board
• Manage marketing automation strategy; collaborate with team on email marketing
strategies and performance metrics to list of 22,000 and growing
• Collaborate with team on earned media campaigns including media releases
• Increase our social media presence; plan and execute all social media posts, share
partner posts as appropriate, and build brand awareness in legal and business
communities
• Create basic graphics for social media posts, digital ads, e-flyers, etc.; supervise contract
graphic designer as needed
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against
goals
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Collaborate with team to optimize user experience on website
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing; 7+ years preferred
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or
display advertising campaigns
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Facebook Ads and Google AdWords campaigns
• Experience creating content and managing calendar for organizational Twitter,
Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts; Hootsuite expertise preferred
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for staying current with latest trends and best practices in online marketing
and measurement
• Salesforce expertise or experience with other CRMs and willingness to learn
• Ability to succeed with limited supervision and exercise judgment about issues that
need to be escalated

Position reports to Executive Director and currently has no direct reports. Equal opportunity
employer. Generous paid time off. 401k matched up to 4% of salary. Generous health insurance
stipend available. Standard full-time work week is 35 hours; some flexibility in work hours but
applicants should assume 9-5 Pacific time with one hour lunchbreak. Permanently remote
employment; laptop and other home office necessities provided as needed. Salary DOE but
ranges from $30-$42/hour.
