Lemon Law 101: Sick of Getting Lemons? We’ll Teach You How to Make Lemonade

Not only is it sour, but owning a defective or malfunctioning car can also be a nightmare. Fortunately, you don’t have to be stuck with a lemon. There are state and federal laws that protect consumers from irresponsible or deceptive manufacturers.

This program is a lemon law case study, covering not only the basics of lemon law, but lemon law with a twist of federal statutes and new case law. Our panelists will explore the basics of the Song-Beverly Act, show how the Rodriguez v. FCA case affected their case, and discuss how they adapted by using the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act to ultimately prevail in a jury trial.
