Supervised Visitation During COVID-19. Child Custody. Court Orders.

A Graduate of University of La Verne Dr. Angela De Pass – Albers has worked in the field of child safety for over 20 years. She has worked with public agencies, non-profit Children’s homes and other institutions. She possesses exemplary social skills. Children have an easy time warming up to her and feeling comfortable. Her experiences working at the Masonic Home in Covina and with the Department of Children and Family Services allows her training to work with a wide range of children, from those who have special needs to those who are blessed with extraordinary skills and abilities. 

She has been trained through the Administrative Office of the Courts. The training was has been completed through Standard 5.20 and Family Code Section 3200.5 Training: Understanding the Uniform Standards of Practice for Providers of Supervised Visitation. She meets all the 5.20 California Rules of the court guidelines required for the supervised visitations.

Hon. Michelle Short was appointed as a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2018 and
served as a Commissioner of the Court beginning in 2015. Judge Short has been assigned to
both the Court’s Family Law Division and the Criminal Division. She is an adjunct professor at
the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.

Ilene has over 30 years working as a professional monitor supervising child visitation from cases in both the Family Law Court and the Dependency Court (via the Department of Children and Family Services) in Los Angeles County and surrounding counties. Ilene is highly trained and experienced in all aspects of visitation with Non-Custodial Parents.

Mr. Lepak is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He received an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin in 1984, and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987.  He was a partner at the former and preeminent family law firm of Trope and Trope LLP in Los Angeles.
 
Mr. Lepak is in his third consecutive year as chair of the Law Practice Management & Technology Section. He was also co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association for 2015-2016 and is currently on the Board of Governors for that Association. In 2019 Mr. Lepak received the prestigious President’s Award for his efforts at the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is also a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
