The number of cases per courtroom in Los Angeles Superior Court has nearly doubled in the last 10 years from an average of 443 cases in December 2014 to 847 in December 2023. While 98% settle before trial, most will incur time-consuming and expensive discovery, motions, and trial preparation before settling. Our court system and our clients are drowning. What can we do?
