Nikki Staggs is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office, with a focus on defending employers in single plaintiff legal actions filed in state and federal court. She has experience in defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, unfair business practices, and wage and hour violations. She counsels clients on pro-active measures in order to avoid litigation; provides training on employment-related topics including sexual harassment; and reviews employer policies and handbooks for compliance. Nikki has prepared for, and served as second chair of, several jury trials.
Janeth Arias is a founding partner of Blanco & Arias. Ms. Arias and handles cases involving wrongful termination, retaliation, unlawful discrimination, and harassment due to race, gender, disability, or other protected category. Janeth Arias also handles matters involving workers’ compensation, wage & hour, and personal injury.
Lorena Vazquez is a skilled civil litigation attorney with extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and employment law. Ms. Vazquez is a seasoned litigator who has worked both as a plaintiff and defense attorney.
Ms. Vazquez attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law. Ms. Vazquez has been a licensed attorney in California since 2009.
