The Tech Committee will produce programs that discuss technology issues related to the practice of law. It is expected that these programs will affect all of the existing BHBA Sections. Programs under consideration include: Cyber Security; Digital Marketing; Handling ESI; the Latest in Firm Software; Ethical Considerations for Outsourcing Data and Firm Operations; Collaborating with Client Portals; Digital Signatures; Law Office Policies for Emails et al; Speech Recognition Tools; Cyber Insurance; Improving Work Efficiency with New Technology; and much more. The Tech Committee also hopes to set up a blog on the BHBA website to post technology articles, and invite members to post similar articles.

The Tech Committee is looking into creating an agreement with service providers to give BHBA members discounts and extra services related to eFiling.

The Tech Committee is also seeking to create a technology symposium to allow BHBA members to have hands on learning, education and experience with various law related software and hardware.
