About the Program

The program will address the problems and solutions if your client has filed a bankruptcy prior to engaging you. It will address the scope of the bankruptcy estate (including applicable exemptions under Federal and California law), the disclosures required regarding the litigation, the role of the bankruptcy trustee in administering your client’s lawsuit/settlement, how to protect your fee and continue your representation of the client, and the process for distributing litigation recoveries to your client.
