Association, Accommodation, and Ambiguity: Navigating FEHA’s Gray Area
About the Program

Associational disability claims are rising. Learn about the state of California and federal law regarding whether and how employers are required to provide reasonable accommodations in the workplace to employees not for their own disability, but as a result of their association with a person with a disability. This program will discuss statutory interpretation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as trending case law.
