Join Jonathan Anschell, Mattel’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel, for a fireside chat with Tanya Acker, Co-Host of Tribunal Justice and Host of The Tanya Acker Show Podcast, as they explain the key role that entertainment lawyers played in the blockbuster “Barbie” movie. Learn how lawyers worked side by side with the production team to transform an idea into a $1.4 billion movie hit that broke both records and barriers.
Jonathan and Tanya will also invite you to hear from Public Counsel Directing Attorney Ritu Mahajan, who will share unique ways attorneys can engage their critical IP and transactional legal skills to help build communities through the power of pro bono.

During her time at Public Counsel, Ritu has engaged in direct legal services, litigation, and policy advocacy to help create healthy, inclusive, and vibrant communities and build power in communities of color.
