Mario Massoud is an Audit Manager at Gursey Schneider with over six years of experience serving a diverse range of clients across financial services, manufacturing, medical care, and not-for-profit sectors, including private foundations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the American University in Cairo and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of San Diego, and is a licensed CPA and active member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Mario brings a global perspective to his work and is known for navigating complex audit landscapes with integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Gary Krausz is a Partner at Gursey Schneider and head of the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Department, bringing over two decades of experience providing audit, accounting, forensic, and consulting services to middle-market businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California. A recognized leader in his field, Gary serves as Chair of the CalCPA Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Technical Committee, teaches at UCLA Extension, and is credentialed as a Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) professional by the AICPA, with extensive experience as an expert witness in Federal and State courts. He holds a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego and a Master of Accounting degree from USC, and prior to joining Gursey Schneider, served as an Audit Senior Manager and National Assurance Instructor at a Big Four accounting firm.
