Justin M. Goldstein is a trial and appellate litigator who has spent his 25-year career successfully representing some of the most prominent individuals and companies in the entertainment industry and the Fortune 500.

Having previously founded and led litigation departments, Justin brought to FROST LLP a general commercial litigation practice built on complex business, entertainment, and intellectual property matters. He has handled matters addressing unfair competition, partnership and shareholder claims, intellectual property, First Amendment, accounting and profit participation, breach of contract and fiduciary duties, and personal service contract disputes. His IP work has also covered copyright infringement, trademark, right of publicity, trade dress, and trade secret interests. Justin has placed a significant focus on media and entertainment throughout his career, representing motion picture studios, production companies, professional entertainers and athletes, while also handling cases for clients in the energy and utilities, apparel, retail, manufacturing, technology, marketing and communications, finance, and real estate industries.

Pouya Shahbazian is the CEO and Founder of Staircase Studios AI, a media and technology company launched in 2024 that explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and storytelling. Before founding Staircase Studios AI, he spent over a decade as Head of Film & Television at New Leaf Literary & Media, where he oversaw the adaptation of numerous bestselling books and original works for the screen.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Shahbazian led FinePrint Productions and co-founded ManDown Pictures & Management, where he developed and produced a range of film and television projects. He began his industry journey at the Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency in Beverly Hills, assisting in the Motion Picture Literary Department. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Mr. Shahbazian brings more than two decades of creative and executive experience bridging literature, film, and emerging media technologies.

Sarah Luppen Fowler is senior deputy general counsel at SAG-AFTRA, the union representing approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other media professionals. She is an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt Law School and a lecturer in law at USC Gould School of Law, where she teaches a course on the intersection of labor law and the entertainment industry.

Before joining SAG-AFTRA, Fowler was an entertainment litigator, handling right of publicity and privacy lawsuits, mostly on the talent side. She started her career as a general business litigator at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, representing clients in securities, antitrust, false claims act, copyright and contract dispute cases.

Aaron Moss is a Partner in the Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Litigation practice groups at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, where he represents a wide range of content creators and media companies in copyright, trademark, right of publicity, idea submission, and contractual disputes. He has successfully argued significant First Amendment cases in courts across the country, defending media clients against defamation, invasion of privacy, and attempts to restrain speech. A nationally recognized expert in copyright law, Aaron is the publisher and editor of Copyright Lately, a prominent legal blog selected by the U.S. Library of Congress for inclusion in its archive of culturally significant websites. His commentary has been cited by courts, academics, and major media outlets, and he is a frequent speaker for the Copyright Society, the ABA, the Media Law Resource Center, and leading law schools.

In addition to his litigation practice, Aaron advises clients on intellectual property acquisitions and transfers, copyright termination and reversion, and emerging issues involving artificial intelligence. He conducts complex chain-of-title analyses, provides pre-publication review, and offers strategic counseling to film and television studios, video game publishers, digital media platforms, retailers, and consumer product companies. Widely regarded as one of the top IP litigators in the field, Aaron has been repeatedly recognized by The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, the Daily Journal, and Chambers USA, and was recently named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers for both First Amendment and Intellectual Property law. Before joining MSK, he served as a partner at Greenberg Glusker, where he chaired the firm’s litigation department for more than twelve years.
