Kenneth P. Williams is a successful trial attorney and Partner at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, where he defends corporations across the country in sophisticated coverage, property, product liability, and commercial litigation matters. His practice encompasses the representation of insurance carriers and individual corporations in coverage and personal injury litigation, as well as the litigation of high-stakes employment discrimination cases on behalf of private individuals. Ken also has deep experience defending civil rights and wrongful death claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, representing law enforcement officers, correctional personnel, and municipal entities against allegations of constitutional violations, inadequate medical care, and institutional liability. His broad jury trial experience spans both federal and state courts in Michigan, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

In addition to his litigation practice, Ken advises insurers on cybersecurity coverage, rideshare liability, bad faith actions, and a wide range of general liability, auto, homeowner, and E&O policy issues. He is frequently sought after for consulting and research on emerging trends, standards, and best practices in risk management and compliance. A national conference speaker for multiple insurance and casualty organizations, Ken has educated carriers and claims professionals across the United States and has also served as an arbitrator and mediator through numerous court and private appointments. Earlier in his career, he gained substantial appellate experience, including arguing before the Michigan Court of Appeals, and previously served as a managing attorney for a national insurance carrier.
