The Hon. Michelle C. Kim is an appointed judge on the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Previously, Judge Kim was a Los Angeles County Public Defender and Alternate Public Defender for 15 years, during which she handled a wide range of criminal cases, jury trials, and supervised attorneys.
Judge Lawrence P. Riff, Supervising Judge, Family Law Division, Los Angeles Superior Court. Judge Riff was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2015. His assignments have included criminal misdemeanors, civil trials, and family law “home court” and long cause trial departments. Before judicial service, Judge Riff was a partner of the international law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP where he served as the firm’s Managing Partner for its Los Angeles office for 17 years and Practice Group Leader for the firm’s U.S. Toxic Tort and Environmental Litigation Practice Group.
The Honorable Halim Dhanidina (Ret.) brings more than 25 years of legal experience to Signature Resolution. With his background as a lawyer, Superior Court judge, and Court of Appeal justice, he offers impartiality and perceptiveness as a neutral party.
Justice Dhanidina is no stranger to challenges and credits his success to his unique career overseeing different facets of the trial process. His experience as a lawyer, coupled with his nine years in the California Second District Court of Appeal and Los Angeles County Superior Court, has broadened his perspective of the legal system and deepened his understanding of each role’s distinct challenges.
Rachael Kogen is a Partner at Fraser, Watson & Croutch and joined the firm in 2009. Her practice focuses on the defense of healthcare institutions and healthcare providers in complex medical malpractice and elder abuse litigation.
Ms. Kogen is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Board of Governors. She is the 2025 Chair of the Executive Committee for the BHBA Litigation Section. She is an active member of LACBA President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession and several other bar associations in Southern California. Ms. Kogen was the 2020 and 2021 President of the Southeast District Bar Association of Los Angeles County (SEDBA).
