Hon. Judith Ashmann-Gerst (Ret.) is a mediator, arbitrator, and appellate consultant at Signature Resolution with over 44 years of judicial experience. Justice Ashmann-Gerst served as an Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Second District from 2001 to 2025. Her notable cases include an entertainment industry royalty dispute involving the estate of Michael Jackson and producer Quincy Jones, and a breach of contract case that secured a $500 million verdict for City of Hope. She previously served on the Los Angeles County Superior Court and Municipal Court, and held positions as Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, and Deputy Attorney General.

Hon. Clifford L. Klein (Ret.) is a mediator, arbitrator, and judicial referee at Signature Resolution. Judge Klein served as a Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles County from 2001 to 2021, presiding over probate cases involving estates, trusts, guardianships, and conservatorships, including cases involving numerous public figures and entertainers. He also presided over the nation’s first full-time juvenile mental health court. Prior to the bench, he spent 25 years as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, specializing in complex business fraud cases.
