Kiran is a founding and litigating partner at Sky Law Group, A.P.C., where she leads the firm’s personal injury litigation practice. Her legal career began representing large corporations in complex civil disputes on the defense side, giving her a strong foundation in high-stakes advocacy and courtroom strategy.
Today, Kiran focuses primarily on plaintiff-side personal injury cases, bringing fierce advocacy, strategic intuition, and tireless preparation to every matter she handles. She thoroughly enjoys the medical aspect of personal injury litigation especially reviewing medical records, learning the medicine, and taking deposition of medical experts. She also maintains a selective and active family law practice, taking on highly complicated and emotionally charged matters — including restraining order trials — to keep her litigation instincts sharp.
Known for her honesty, compassion, and direct communication, Kiran is often praised by clients for not just being a skilled legal advocate, but being exceptionally prepared, a trusted counselor and emotional support during life’s most difficult legal challenges. Many of her past clients, she can refer to as friends. She has earned the respect of her peers and even opposing counsel, many of whom have referred her clients after concluding a case with her. Kiran is aggressive when needed but caring and understanding of a client’s wants and desires and can avoid litigation if necessary.
Kiran is admitted to all California state and federal courts and is a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Whittier Law School in 2005 and her B.A. from Tufts University in 1998, where she majored in Spanish with a pre-medical concentration. She speaks Spanish fluently and is passively tri-lingual in Punjabi.
