About the Program

Two emerging issues are the liability of producers for defamation in productions ostensibly fictional, and what happens when stars of a successful film and their publicity representatives are embroiled in libel litigation. This panel will analyze the lessons learned from recent and pending litigation on these issues from current practitioners. A crisis manager and journalist will provide their perspectives as to “defamation by litigation.”
