Charles Weathersby is an A&R consultant and entertainment law professional with a focused practice in copyright, publishing, licensing, and contractual matters across the music and media industries. With over three decades of experience at the intersection of law, business, and creative development, Charles offers a unique blend of legal insight and industry expertise.
His career began in 1993 while attending El Camino College, where a pivotal meeting with Aaron Meza—then Director of the Songwriters’ Guild of America—sparked his passion for the business side of music. Through the Guild, Charles gained early exposure to music publishing, A&R demo sessions, and song critique, laying the foundation for his legal and business practice in entertainment.
