Jala Eaton

Jala Eaton Esq., also known as Your Wealth Bestfriend® is a licensed California attorney who owns her own law firm, J. Eaton Law PC, where she specializes in Estate Planning and Contract law. She was fueled by her passion to aid in closing the racial wealth gap, so she earned her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation and founded On My Own Financial, LLC, a financial education business. She is on a mission to empower black communities nationwide to build and protect their wealth in non-traditional ways. She seeks to create an inclusive and diverse financial ecosystem where millennials understand their money, and the fees they pay when allowing others to manage and invest their money. As a result of her work, millennials have realized why they should start the process of learning to invest and why they need to begin estate planning as early as age 18. These small realizations will lead to opportunities for minority communities to truly build generational wealth giving them the ability to thrive within the economy.
