About/Bio

Maggie Stewart is an experienced attorney admitted to the State Bar of California and the Nova Scotia Bar (Canada). She has been an attorney for over 15 years and founded Mundial Law, based in Los Angeles, in 2016.

Maggie graduated from Dalhousie University Law School in Canada (LLB / JD) in 2007. From 2008 through 2016, Maggie was an associate in the Hallifax office of one of Atlantic Canada’s most established law firms, Stewart McKelvey. While there, she practiced media and defamation law, regulatory law, and civil litigation. Stewart McKelvey’s clients were major corporations from across Canada and around the world.

In 2016, Maggie moved to Los Angeles where she founded her firm, Mundial Law, and became licensed to practice law in California in 2022. Mundial Law focuses on providing concierge legal services, primarily in the field of entertainment and immigration with an emphasis on Canadian law.

Mundial Law is an industry leader for providing immigration solutions and services to entertainment professionals. Mundial Law’s clients include leading musicians and bands, film and television studios, music presenters, A-list celebrities, and touring theatre productions. In 2022, Mundial Law was retained by Rolling Loud to to provide immigration services for its first festival in Canada. Clients of Mundial Law benefit from Maggie’s broad network of top professionals who are experienced in working with high-profile individuals for an array of sensitive circumstances.

In addition to her legal work, Maggie has an extensive history in non-profit arts administration in Canada. From 2000 to 2020, she partnered in founding and operating two successful arts organizations.
Maggie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association, where she served as Co-Chair for the Immigration Section from 2021-2023. She is also a member of the Rancho Park Rotary Club (District 5280 – Los Angeles) and served as President from 2022-2023.

In her spare time, Maggie loves to catch live music of all kinds and enjoys outdoor adventures in Southern California.
