About/Bio

Bruce Ramer is a partner at the firm of Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman, Inc., specializing in entertainment/media law.

Mr. Ramer obtained his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Harvard Law School.

Mr. Ramer serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, University of Southern California. Bruce is also the Chair of the USC Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, as well as a member of the Board of Councilors of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education; member, Board of Councilors, University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and member, Board of Governors, Center for the Digital Future, USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and former Chair. He is Executive Advisory Council Member of the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. He serves as a Board of Director for the National Archives Foundation.

Bruce is the Founding Chair of the Geffen Playhouse (UCLA) Los Angeles; member of the Board of Directors of the West Coast Peabody Awards and former Chairman.
