Christabel Randolph is Associate Director of the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) in Washington, D.C., where she leads work on U.S. AI law and policy, with a focus on AI governance, regulatory accountability, and the protection of fundamental rights. An attorney with nearly two decades of international legal and policy experience, she has authored commentary in the Journal of AI Law & Regulation and legal volumes published by Kluwer.
Previously, Randolph was a Public Interest Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center, where her research focused on the governance of AI and emerging technologies. She holds an LL.M. in Technology Law & Policy from Georgetown Law and was an Erasmus Mundus Scholar in Law & Economics at the Universities of Rotterdam, Hamburg, and Bologna. She is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a former senior corporate counsel across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
