Craig Lipsey is the President and Chief Appraiser of Lipsey Appraisal Service, a Los Angeles-based firm specializing in residential real estate appraisal. With over four decades of experience, Mr. Lipsey has provided expert valuation services for a wide range of purposes including dissolution of marriage, estate and income tax reporting, civil litigation, financing, and real estate transactions. His appraisal reports have been accepted by the Internal Revenue Service, and he is regularly retained by law firms, financial institutions, and high-net-worth clients. Mr. Lipsey is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in the State of California and has qualified as an expert witness in both Superior Court and before the Los Angeles County Assessment Appeals Board.
Prior to founding his own firm in 2007, Mr. Lipsey served as Senior Appraiser with respected firms such as Sommer Appraisal Service and Sommer, Adler & Company. He began his career with Tynan Appraisal Service in Beverly Hills in the early 1980s. Throughout his career, he has appraised a wide range of properties including single-family homes, condominiums, vacant land, and small residential income properties.
