Danielle Van Lier

Danielle Van Lier is the Founder of Van Lier Law, where she advises clients as an intellectual property, technology, and transactional attorney and consultant, with special expertise in artificial intelligence, the right of publicity, and name, image, likeness, and voice rights. She previously served as Senior Assistant General Counsel, Contracts and Compliance, for a major entertainment industry union, where she played an integral role in its 2023 contract negotiations on AI and its first contracts with AI companies. She also teaches legal issues arising from AI in entertainment and media as an adjunct professor at three Los Angeles-area law schools.
