Dr. Boris Richard is the Founder of UpAI, LLC, a consultancy that pairs human expertise with AI and machine learning to deliver expert witness, blockchain analytics, asset tracing, and crypto valuation services. With over 25 years in securities markets, he held trading and strategy roles at Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, and HSBC Securities before managing quantitative fixed income hedge fund portfolios. Since 2018, he has launched the digital assets practice at FTI Consulting, helped build a similar practice at JS Held, and testified in matters involving token registration, crypto tracing, market manipulation, and digital asset valuation disputes.
