Dr. Hassan Elhais is a senior legal consultant and internationally engaged legal professional
based in the United Arab Emirates, with approximately two decades of professional experience
in the UAE legal sector. He also serves as the co-chair of the relocation committee in the IAFL.
His career has been principally focused on complex cross-border and private-client matters,
including family law, international divorce and child custody disputes, inheritance and estate
matters, extradition, criminal law, civil and commercial disputes, enforcement proceedings, and
the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. Throughout his professional career, Dr.
Elhais has advised individuals, families, and international clients in matters involving multiple
jurisdictions and differing legal systems.
