Gary Markarian will work in the areas of complex civil and criminal tax controversies for both federal and state tax matters. Mr. Markarian previously worked as a law clerk with a focus on civil tax litigation and estate tax planning. Mr. Markarian interned with the Office of Chief Counsel, IRS (LB&I Division) with a focus on litigation related to both large and small businesses. Mr. Markarian’s externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Tax Division (CDCA) focused primarily on representing the IRS in Bankruptcy Court. He has helped clients successfully resolve tax matters with the CA Department of Tax and Fee Administration while working with Loyola Law School’s Sales and Use Tax Clinic.
