Grant Wilson is the Executive Director of Earth Law Center and an expert on the Rights of Nature, ecocentric law, and international environmental law. For the past decade, he has worked all over the world to defend the rights and interests of nature, including by co-drafting legal instruments that formally recognize those rights. He is a co-lead editor of the textbook Earth Law: Emerging Ecocentric Law, published by Wolters Kluwer, which has become a key reference for practitioners in the field. He also serves as a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law and the United Nations Harmony with Nature Initiative.
