Hon. Jamie Jacobs-May (Ret.) is a neutral with JAMS, where she resolves complex disputes through thorough preparation, candid case evaluation, and a calm, engaged mediation style. Before joining JAMS, she served 21 years on the Superior Court and Municipal Court of California, County of Santa Clara, where her colleagues elected her Presiding Judge of both courts. She also served on the Judicial Council of California, chaired the Civil and Small Claims Advisory Committee, and has taught negotiation and mediation nationally and internationally, including at UC Berkeley School of Law.
