Hon. Mark A. Juhas has served as a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court in a general family law assignment since his appointment by Governor Gray Davis in August 2002, and is actively involved in judicial education as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School and as a regular instructor for the Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He serves on numerous committees dedicated to improving the justice system, including the Judicial Council’s Family and Juvenile Advisory Committee, the CJER Governing Committee, and as Chair of the Access and Fairness Committee for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Judge Juhas earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado College and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law).
