About/Bio

Honorable Martin Barash was appointed to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California on March 26, 2015, with his current term set to expire on March 25, 2029. A graduate of Princeton University (magna cum laude) in 1989 and UCLA School of Law in 1992, he served as Editor and Business Manager of the UCLA Law Review. Before his appointment, Judge Barash practiced law for over two decades, including as a partner at Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff & Stern LLP. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum.
