Joseph J. Lazzarotti is a principal in the Tampa, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C., where he co-leads the firm’s Privacy, AI & Cybersecurity practice group and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). His practice focuses on the intersection of laws governing data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI, advising multinational and regional companies across industries on compliance, risk management, data breach response, and emerging technology issues in the workplace. A recipient of the Florida Legal Awards “Distinguished Leader” recognition for 2026, Joe also counsels employers and plan sponsors on employee benefits matters, including health and welfare plan compliance under ERISA, HIPAA, and the ACA.
