Marco Imperiale is the founder and managing director of Better Ipsum, a benefit corporation dedicated to shaping the future of legal services. He graduated from Bologna University, with a laurea magistrale in giurisprudenza (summa cum laude), completing a thesis in Philosophy of Law, and later earned a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.
In the early stages of his career, Marco worked as an entertainment and copyright lawyer, representing stadium artists, booking agencies, record labels, media companies, and other entertainment industry stakeholders. Driven by a vision to innovate legal services, he later served as Head of Innovation at LCA, a prominent Italian law firm. This role fueled his decision to launch Better Ipsum, a benefit corporation committed to positively transforming the legal profession.
Marco’s work and thought leadership have earned him numerous accolades, including a Fulbright scholarship. He was recognized by Digital First Magazine in 2023 as a “Must-Watch Innovator to Follow” and participated in the European Young Lawyers Programme in Scotland. Federmanager Italia awarded him an honorary mention for his impressive academic achievements.
Last but not least, Marco is a mediator for civil and commercial disputes.
