Matt Fulton is the Director of Business Affairs at Writers House, the premier full-service independent literary agency, representing hundreds of bestselling and award-winning authors across genres and markets with offices in New York, San Diego, and London. In this role, he advises on film and theater adaptations, emerging technologies, global publishing deals, and other legal matters related to intellectual property and entertainment. In addition to his work at Writers House, Matt is a professor at Troy University, where he teaches in the MBA in music industry program at the Sorrell College of Business, as well as undergraduate courses at the John M. Long School of Music. A passionate advocate for creators’ rights, Matt serves on the Copyright Committee of the Association of American Literary Agents, the Copyright & Literary Property Committee of the New York City Bar Association, and the Literary & Publishing Committee of the Copyright Society.
