Piper Hinson graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Southwestern Law Review and Academic Chair of the Moot Court Honors Program. Both of her moot court teams earned Best Brief honors at competitions. At the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition Boston Regionals, she was named Best Advocate, her team won the regional championship, and moved on to compete at nationals. She also served as a Dean’s Fellow, research assistant, teaching assistant, and extern to the Honorable Otis D. Wright II at the U.S. District Court for the Central District. During her final year, she participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, where she helped draft appellate briefs and argued a case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
