About/Bio

Professor Michael C. Duff, a 1995 graduate of the Harvard Law School, directs the Wefel Center for Employment Law at the Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to entering academia in 2006, Professor Duff practiced workers’ compensation, personal injury, labor, and employment law in the federal government and with a private firm. He has settled (and litigated) many cases. Although he has written complex legal texts on theoretical subjects (he has authored textbooks, law review articles, and Bar journal pieces), he is also very well known as a practical lawyer who has resolved many straightforward legal disputes efficiently.
