Richard Fung is a Principal at Ernst & Young LLP, where he has advised clients since 2001 on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including spin-offs, restructurings, and cross-border transactions. He previously led the firm’s Transaction Tax practice for the West Region and served on its Transaction Tax Technical Committee. His clients include the largest Los Angeles-based private equity and asset management firms, as well as corporations across a variety of industries.
