About/Bio

Robert Rhee is a John H. and Mary Lou Dasburg Professor of Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He brings a distinctive blend of legal and investment banking experience to his scholarship, having served as a Third Circuit law clerk and DOJ trial attorney before working as an investment banker at firms including Fox-Pitt Kelton, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, and UBS Warburg in New York and London. A prolific author of leading casebooks on business organizations, corporate finance, and LLCs, his scholarship has appeared in top law reviews and been cited in federal and state judicial opinions, and he has testified before Congress as an expert on financial markets and credit rating agencies, while also teaching law and business internationally in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Korea, including as a Fulbright Distinguished Lecturer.
