Ryan is an attorney specializing in animal law, real property litigation, financial litigation, and appeals. He is a founder and Co-Director of Advancing Law for Animals, which focuses on impact litigation for animals. He is also the former General Counsel to Beagle Freedom Project, and over the years has worked for Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Nonhuman Rights Project. Ryan’s work has been featured in the New York times, the Guardian, Science Magazine, USA Today, the Sacramento Bee, and others.
Prior to focusing on animal law full time, he worked for both large and small law firms in the Los Angles area, focusing primarily on multi-million dollar real property disputes and lender liability cases.
