Ryan Wedell is a senior associate in the Entertainment, Technology and Advertising Practice Group at Sheppard Mullin’s Century City office, where his practice focuses on transactional matters in television, film, and new media, with deep expertise in scripted development and production, independent film finance, branded content, and Hollywood guild regulations. He began his career as production counsel on Yellowstone and has since served as a go-to production lawyer on a range of acclaimed projects, including The Summer I Turned Pretty, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Pachinko, Mayor of Kingstown, and Lioness, among others. Named one of Variety’s “Hollywood’s New Leaders” in 2023, Ryan received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and his B.A. with High Distinction from UC Berkeley.
