Sheila Abron is a partner at Fisher Phillips, where she is certified as a Specialist in Employment and Labor Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court and serves as Chair of the Firm’s Government Contracting, Compliance, and Reporting practice group, representing companies and educational institutions in matters ranging from hiring and discrimination to OFCCP compliance and wage and hour class actions. A recognized leader in both the legal profession and her community, she is a past president of the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, the South Carolina Women Lawyers’ Association, and the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, and has been honored with distinctions including the ABA’s Top 40 Under 40, the Leadership in the Law award, and consistent recognition in South Carolina Super Lawyers. Prior to practicing law, Sheila gained firsthand experience in employment matters as a store leader for a Fortune 500 retail company, a background that informs her practical, business-minded counsel to clients today.
