If you are a new attorney, a law student, or awaiting bar results, BHBA’s Barristers is the place for you. There are tons of resources and benefits to help young lawyers navigate the early years of a career, opportunities to network, and resources to grow your skill set. BHBA law student and lawyer members who are 36 years old or under, or who have been licensed for eight or fewer years, are automatically Barristers and welcome to participate in Barrister activities.
Attorneys with fewer than three years in practice, law students, and those awaiting bar results receive Sustainer membership free of charge, courtesy of Lawyers’ Mutual Insurance Company.

Sections are the backbone of BHBA, and they're led by attorneys at the top of their fields.
Join the section
Section participation is open to BHBA members at the Sustainer level or higher. Law students and new attorneys get section access with a free NextGen membership.
Speak at a program
Have an idea for a program? Propose a CLE and we'll work with you to shape it into a webinar for attorneys in your practice area.
Help lead the section
Want a bigger role? Section leaders help set the agenda. They pick up on emerging issues, identify great speakers and section members, and help the section grow.
