Data Privacy Laws Outside of California—A Roundup
About the Program

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) was just the beginning. With 19 other U.S. states now enacting their own comprehensive data privacy laws—and several more adopting statutes that provide limited privacy rights—the compliance landscape has become increasingly complex for businesses operating across jurisdictions. In the absence of a comprehensive federal privacy law, companies and legal practitioners must navigate a growing patchwork of state-specific requirements, enforcement regimes, and consumer rights. This webinar offers a practical overview of these evolving laws beyond the CCPA, comparing key provisions, examining legislative trends, and providing compliance guidance. Attendees will gain the tools to advise clients effectively and stay ahead of regulatory developments in this rapidly shifting area of law.
