About the Program

In this program, Liane Ly of Liane Ly Law will provide attorneys with a practical and accessible overview of disability discrimination and workplace accommodations under California law. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) protects workers with disabilities, as well as the obligations employers have to provide reasonable accommodations and to engage in a good-faith interactive process.

Liane Ly Law

Liane Katzenstein Ly is an experienced employment attorney and the founder of Liane Ly Law, a California firm committed to advancing fairness and equity in the workplace. Licensed since 2008, Liane represents employees in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower protection. A graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Environmental Law Journal and as a board member of the King Hall Negotiations Team, Liane has authored multiple appellate briefs for state and federal courts, including cases that reached the U.S. Supreme Court. She regularly speaks on panels addressing wage and hour and employment law issues.

Beyond her practice, Liane’s dedication to justice extends into her community. She provides pro bono legal services to low-wage workers and undocumented immigrants seeking asylum and is actively involved with several non-profit organizations advocating for workers’ rights. Known for her compassion and commitment, Liane approaches each case with the belief that every worker’s story deserves to be heard—and that meaningful legal representation can truly change lives.
