PGP Mediation

Phyllis G. Pollack is the principal of PGP Mediation and has been a mediator in Los Angeles since 2000. She has conducted over 2,000 mediations. With more than 40 years of experience as an attorney, she uses her broad background to resolve disputes in areas like business, commercial, international trade, real estate, employment, and lemon law at both state and federal trial courts, as well as state appellate courts.

Pollack is a former chair of the State Bar of California’s ADR Committee. She has served on the board of the California Dispute Resolution Council (2012-2013), and is a past president and treasurer of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA) Education Foundation (2011-2013). She was also the SCMA president in 2010.

Currently, Pollack is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law, where she teaches ADR ethics. She earned her BA in sociology from Newcomb College of Tulane University in 1973 and her JD from Tulane University School of Law in 1977. Pollack is an active member of both the Louisiana and California bars. She advocates for mediation over litigation, as it allows parties to create their own solutions and believes it’s never too late to mediate a dispute.
